Photography Props

I have considered getting into more photography props because I have many photographer friends that are looking for inexpensive but beautiful photography props. One particular photographer friend is Liz who started her own business this past year and in the beginning asked me to do a couple cocoons and hats for her. She finally put to use one of my favorite props which was this cute little newborn sized long elf style hat. I will give her full credit for the photo, she does wonderful work! If you are in the Sarasota, Florida area you should totally look her up she does an amazing job and takes beautiful photos at a really amazing rate. Her facebook fan page: https://www.facebook.com/lbp.Photography, and her blog: http://www.lizziebphotography.net/  I look forward to possibly trading props for photos someday when I get the chance :)

Little Pig, Little Pig, Let me in!

You won't have to be the big bad wolf to blow anyone away with this cutey. Cute little button eyes and curly tail go a long way to charm it's way into your heart and onto your child's head. No huffing or puffing required!

Something Beary Sweet

I've done bears before but this little one just takes the cake. I am thinking of making one for my little boy because it's just too cute! Warm and cuddley with a big smile and hug ready to keep your little one's head warm and cute to boot.

Now for something different but totally the same at the same time . . .

By request I can make variations on some of my hats which is what this little one was all about. My customer was pretty particular about what she wanted because it was for a halloween costume. In fact she sent me tons of different pictures pointing out how she liked these eyes, and these ears and these colors and of course a bow. I LOVE this! It's actually better then leaving me to my own devices because I can of course make it perfectly the way my customers want it to be. When left to my own devices (not to toot my own horn here) but I do wonderful work but it's my ideas not yours so PLEASE feel free to tell me what you want exactly and I'll see what I can do. I love how this particular custom job turned out and the end result speaks for itself. It matched her outfit perfectly and made for a very professional looking costume made by her mom and myself.

Ickis from Ahh Real Monsters

One of the wackiest and most original ideas that I've had so far is this here hat of Ickis. I'm not sure if anyone out there who reads my blog remembers the show Ahh Real Monsters that used to be on Nickelodeon but this customer who I made this particular hat had. He wanted it for halloween and said it would be perfect because it would be original. It sure was! A monster that was scary and cute at the same time. This guy was a full mask and had personality all of it's own. Definitely on my list of favorite hats I've made.

The Angry Birds Pig

Also a quite popular game right now is Angry Birds. Very addicting almost as addicting as this hat. This of course is the green pig from Angry Birds. Keep your eye out for when I make the rest of his pals the birds themselves. So cute as a green pig can be.

The Minion

Everyone knows the movie Despicable Me and if you don't then you really  need to see this movie! This character is my favorite in the movie or rather I should say characters seeing as there's a ton of them doing Grue's bidding. The fun is in the details with this guy, from his hair to his smile (which is different with every one I make) He is sure to put a smile on everyone who sees it's face.

Moo Cow

Old MacDonald had a farm and on that farm he had a cow . . . you know the rest of the song. This adorable little guy will go well on any little farmer boy or girl and keep their head warm to boot while they plow the field or make mud pies :) With a Moo Moo here, there and everywhere.

Chicken Hat

Made for a little boy with the nickname Chicken Boo Boo. This cutey will cluck his way into your heart and look adorable on your little one.

Deeno the Dinosaur

Mommy and Me sets (AKA : The Beret)

Another idea that was given to me by my good friend Jenn Lowery. She has a beautiful little girl who has just turned one years old and had the idea for a set of hats for her and her daughter to match. Simple in cream and chocolate brown they are super sweet and will make any little girl and Mama look gorgeous and still stay nice and warm in the fall and winter months as they cool down. Many color combos could be put to good use with this pair of beauties! I can't wait to see Mommy and Baby model their hats soon!

Infant Soccer Bootie Set

A sweet set of hat and booties for the sports fan newborn baby boy! So sweet and so small, one of the best ways to start off a little boy right. Teaching them to grow up a fan of the original "football"

Mohawk or Trojan

I was approached with this idea by a good friend Jenn Lowery who has a little boy C, who is 2 1/2 years old. She likes to dress her kids with a slight punk rock style which is so cute and this Mohawk hat was perfect to fit that style. Multi colored turquoise, black and white pops against the solid black based ear flap hat. Can't wait to show everyone him modeling it. I'll have pictures to come :)

Fall Approaches . . .

As we come upon the fall business is starting to pick up and I'm loving it! All kinds of new ideas are coming pouring in from so many customers and it gets my creative juices flowing. I love creating new things and getting chances to try new designs out. As such I'll be posting a whole bunch of new designs that I've had the opportunity to make within the past couple weeks. Please feel free to send me a message if there's anything new you see that you'd like me to make. I've added a few different kinds of booties to match some of the hats and I plan on starting on a blanket or two that I may decide to sell or auction off. Other things I am considering making are sweaters, scarves, and mittens. Stay tuned for a huge influx of blog updates with new stock ready to be made. Thanks everyone! Happy Autumn and first days of school!

Puppy and slipper set

I recently created this as a gift for a friend who has a little boy born around the same time that my little girl was born. We had a gift exchange and she loves the shabby upcycled look so I made the shabby Puppy and slipper set. Cute and cuddly and can be made in different sizes. This particular set is for a 12 month old.

 Modeled by Ryker Cozens

Also available in other color variations as are most of my hat designs. I'm not set on color, if you want it you got it! It makes it easier to change the gender it's meant for and anything else for that matter.

And most hats can have other embellishments added such as earflaps and tassels :)

Bunny Hats

Just because Easter is coming and I have made quite a few bunny hats lately that are SOOOOO cute!!! Fuzzy or pink or floppy eared or pointed, they make every baby look so sweet. The bulk of my bunny hats were requested from a good friend L. Baker who has ordered a few of my hats. Her little one E. is nicknamed "Bunny" so she bought two bunny hats from me in different sizes. Isn't she cute?! Babies and kids are my favorite way of showing off the stuff I make. Since I made these hats though her mom has taught herself to crochet and has caught on really quickly how to make some beautiful things which makes me super happy that I could help teach someone else the art of crocheting. :)

And the newest Fuzzy Bunny Hat :)
