Custom Work

A lot of what I get when receiving orders is custom work or requests which is my favorite to do. Keeps what I do fresh and tests my skills. I figured I'd make one post dedicated to all the custom hats I've done. I can repeat them if you like what you see. If the hats on the site aren't to your liking but you have one in mind, find me a picture and send it and I will let you know if I can do it :). Enjoy!

The Shell Hat with Standard Flower

This sweet hat can be made in various sizes, it utilizes the shell pattern that looks like a fish scale or shell. Can be made in various colors and looks beautiful on a sweet little girl.

The "Pom Pom" or "Piggytail" Hat

Created for a newborn baby that was being adopted by a friend, this cute little hat is quite popular for newborns and up. Made of sturdy warm yarn of bright colors can be whipped up in a flash for you.

A sweet furry monkey hat. With earflaps and tassles to add personality and charm. Will keep any child or baby's head nice and warm.

Animal hats

I have made various animal hats including teddy bear, kitty and bunny rabbit ear hats. The basic hat is the same but different ears. All cuddly and adorable and custom made and sized.

The Popcorn Stitch Hat with Handmade Rose

This was the original design that I made for my daughter that "Put the Bee in my Bonnet" for selling hats. It is a very high end looking design that stretches and looks super cute on babies, kids and adults. Can be made in various color combinations.

The News Boy/Page Boy

One of the more popular hats I have created this hat is great for wearing on a cold day or just for running errands on the go. It looks super sweet in children and baby sizes and can be accessorized with a hand made rose or flower to make it feminine.

Welcome to my newest blog for my custom crocheted hats! I wanted to start by introducing myself and introduce you to my creations. My name is Stephanie Beard and I'm a stay at home mom with a small business of my own making various crocheted creations mainly hats but can do other things as well. I started crocheting at the age of 12 and just recently had my first baby girl on September 24th and made a few hats for her. After getting lots of feedback from friends and family asking how much they cost I decided to start selling them online and the response has been phenomenal. I figured I'd start up a blog featuring my hats in a more structured, easier form for those interested in ordering. Please let me know if I can create anything lovely for you.

First and foremost my pricing is reasonable, orders are easily made and payment is versatile. I mainly take Paypal because of how easy it is to use but I also will take money orders or in some cases cash or check by mail. My favorite way to do things is simply ask and I can more then likely make it. In other words if you don't see anything on my site that you want to order but know of a hat or scarf or anything else that is crocheted that you'd like me to make, send me a picture and I will let you know: 1. If I can make it 2. how long it will take 3. how much it will cost. Custom work helps me to become more versatile, as you can see I have made quite a few custom hats as well as the few styles I already knew how to make.

Pricing:

Newborn to 24 months - $15 dollars
24 months and up Children's sizes - $20 dollars
Adult sizes - $25 dollars

Anything that requires me to buy yarn that I don't have the color of already will cost an addition $2.50 but I have quite a large amount of colors so you need only ask what I have and I will let you know. I plan on posting my color selection that I have in the near future so you can decide if you'd like any of those colors or something else. As this is fairly new it is under construction
